Frankfurt's exhibition grounds encompass an area of 475,000m²; 324,000m² in ten halls with a further 83,000m² of outdoor grounds. The Festhalle festival hall (hall 2), with its domed roof rising to a height of 40m, is used to stage all kinds of one-off events. The two-storey Hall 5 boasts an excellent load-bearing construction, making it suitable for very heavy exhibits.
