Every February FREIZEIT, the leisure exhibition for holidays, fitness, sport and recreation takes place in parallel with two other leisure industry exhibitions: Reisemarkt Saarbrücken (Saarbrücken Travel Mart) and Museumswelten (World of Museums). Over two days, more than 400 exhibitors showcase bikes, sport accessories, horse-riding accessories, tourism products, camping equipment, caravans, fitness equipment, museum technology and art restoration products. Held every April this multi-industry trade fair specialises in capital goods, equipment, machinery and vehicles for the construction industry, energy technology, tools, commercial vehicles, telecommunications, insurance, the home, furniture, garden equipment, food and luxury food as well as fashion accessories. Every September this diverse consumer exhibition showcases the latest in the home, interior design, cookery, nutrition, fashion, leisure, garden equipment, renewable energy, wood products, kitchen equipment, luxury foods and wellness. It regularly welcomes around 130,000 visitors and 400 exhibitors.
