Rothenburg is perfect for a relaxing stroll. The Castle Garden on the site of the former imperial castle has magnificent views of the charming Tauber Valley.

Castle Garden
The lovely castle gardens were laid out on the site of the Hohenstaufen imperial castle which was destroyed by an earthquake in the 14th century. The only remnant is the Castle Gate, the oldest and highest gateway tower in the town. There is a magnificent panoramic view of the charming Tauber Valley from here.
